International Widow's Day - Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) said: The one who works hard to take care of a widow or a poor person is like a person who prays all the night and fasts all the day. - Bukhari # 5353International Widows Day If any of you die and leave widows behind they should wait for four months and ten nights (before remarrying). When they have completed this set time then there is no blame upon you (the guardians of the widow) for what they reasonably choose regarding their own affairs (whether to remarry or not).
