Quran Chapter 102: Verse 1Temporary pleasure They rejoice in the (pleasures of) worldly life. But the life of this world, compared to the (eternal) life after death, is nothing but a brief enjoyment. Quran Chapter 13: Verse 26Aim for the best The worldly life is nothing but play and amusement. The (eternal) Home in the life after death is best for those who are mindful of God. Would you still not understand? Quran Chapter 6: Verse 32Mankind is in loss except... (I swear) by the Time (that flies quickly)! Surely, man is in a state of loss except those who believe (in God), do good deeds, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance. Quran Chapter 103: Verses 1-3Live like a traveler The Final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be on him) said:Be (live) in this world like a stranger or a traveler. Bukhari # 6416Worldly life is insignificant The Final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be on him) said:This world (its pleasures and duration) in comparison with the life after death is (similar to the amount of water) one would get when he puts his finger in the sea. Sahih Muslim # 2858Don't be deceived O people! Be mindful of your God, and fear a Day when no parent will be of any benefit to their child, nor will a child be of any benefit to their parent. Surely God’s promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the deceiver (Satan) deceive you about God. Quran Chapter 31: Verses 33More and more until... The Final Prophet, Muhammad (peace be on him) said:If son of Adam (human being) had a valley full of gold, he would wish for two valleys, for nothing fills his mouth except dust (of his grave). We are born with an inborn awareness to worship Him alone. — Quran Chapter 7 Verse 172Seek the life after death by means of what God has granted you, but do not neglect your rightful share in this world. (Quran 28:77) Focusing on the life after death does not mean ignoring this life. It means living responsibly in this world while preparing for the next. — Quran Chapter 28 Verse 77
