Quran Chapter 43: Verse 41Dealing with evil The recompense of an evil deed is its equivalent. But whoever forgives and seeks reconciliation, then their reward is with God. They are those who practiced justice in their judgments, with their families, and in all that they did. The victim will hold onto the head of his killer and say (to God): "O Lord, ask this person, why he killed me?" Note: Just like a camel that dies falling into a well and poisons it, the sectarian is destroyed and effects of his action will poison the entire nation." Musnad Ahmad # 4292Sectarianism is ignorance Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) said: "One who is killed under the banner of a man who is blind (to justice), who supports his own tribe (in wrongdoing), dies the death of one belonging to the days of ignorance." Sahih Muslim # 1850.Stand up for Truth "The last statement of Prophet Abraham when he was thrown into the fire was: ""God is Sufficient for me and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs for us)."" On this festival day, let's take inspiration from Prophet Abraham and stand up for truth, no matter who it is for or against."
