A funeral passed by and Prophet Muhammad got up. It was said to him, “It is a Jew.”
The Prophet said: “Was he not a person?”

The saying of Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) makes it very clear that every person, dead or alive, irrespective of their faith, skin color, caste and ethnicity deserve respect.
God says in the Quran:
We (God) have honoured the children of Adam.
Chapter 17:70
Quran teaches that all the humans living in the world, irrespective of their religion, skin color, nationality are children of Adam, the first human being. God mentions all the children of Adam are honoured. Thus it is very clear that there is room for discrimination on the basis of religion, skin color, caste etc.
