Prophet Muhammad said:
There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab. Neither is the white superior over the black, nor is the black superior over the white. Superiority is only by good character.
Musnad Aḥmad #22978,
The belief that they are superior because of their birth has resulted in severe discrimination and oppression of the less fortunate humans. The saying of the Prophet (peace be on him) puts an end to the illusion that some are superior just because of their birth.
National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report shows that India reported six crimes against Dalits every hour in 2021.
Universal Brotherhood
God proclaims Universal Brotherhood in the Quran:
O mankind! Surely, We (God) created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may know each other. Surely, the most superior of you in the sight of God is the most righteous among you. God is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.
Chapter 49: Verse 13
The verse above makes it clear that all humans irrespective of their religion, nationality, skin color, caste and ethnicity have a common parents (Adam and Eve). We are all children of Adam and Eve and thus we are all brothers and sisters in humanity. How can some be superior to others because of their birth, when we all share the same parents?
